Hello, I'm Ziggy. I come from a long line of Ziggy's and am proudly carrying on the nickname tradition.

 

I'm been doing this advertising-writing-creative thing for over 25 years now. NOTE: when I am 98, I will boldface lie and tell people I'm in my early 80s. I've written everything from annual reports and brochures, to direct mail and print ads. I can do outdoor, guerilla, press releases, whitepapers, feature articles, children's books, videos and tv commercials, radio, and all things digital, from websites, to banners and social. Taglines and product naming are also in my wheelhouse. For the past half dozen or so years, I've been doing pharma advertising, both for patients and HCPs.

Here are some of my favorites, as it relates to writing (of course):

 

Favorite words: unmissable, husky, smorgasbord, pesky, and scram.

Least favorite words: moist, whimsical, chockfull, and plethora. 

​

Fave places to write: sunroom overlooking the woods or by any body of water when

it's not monsoon season. 

 

Fave writers: Donna Tartt, Margaret Atwood, and Philippa Gregory.

​

Best writing mistake: many, many moons ago describing the highway as being full

of "erotic" instead of "erratic" drivers.
